Well in terms of teaching someone what a safety on a firearm does, red certainly means dead. For me, red means I have been playing Red Dead Redemption for way too many hours today. I can’t say enough about this game. It is fabulous, stupendous, enormous and all of the other “ous” words you can use in a good way. In short, the game just plain rocks. As you can expect from a Rockstar game, the characters are lively, the story is rich and you just can’t stop yourself from wasting tons of hours on the damned side games. If I could just figure out how to not die in every duel I would be less frustrated but hey you can’t win them all right? Another huge win from the rockstars at Rockstar. Thanks for soaking up hours of my life.

OMG this is the greatest game since… jees… since…. Oh hell I dunno, Oblivion??? Man Bethesda has really done it again. I love it! There are a couple technical glitches that I have experienced. In the beginning when you go to take the G.O.A.T.S. the teacher just stood there, nothing happened for like 10 minutes. So I reloaded from my save game and went back in and everything worked fine. Secondly, if you switch from one target to another in V.A.T.S. the game seems to lock up completely for a good couple minutes. One other pain in the but is anytime someone logs in or out from your buddy list, the game freezes. Anyway, if you work around those, the gameplay is unbelievable and the graphics are amazing! If you don’t have it, GO GET IT!

Picked it up last night at the midnight release. Initial thoughts are:
It’s Fable… part 2.
The gameplay feels the same as the original, take that for what you will. The graphics are upgraded but I find myself disappointed in the lighting quality.
After finishing the initial walkthrough I am beginning my adventure, more to come…

This video game has taken over my life. I sit up until 3am playing it and then go to bed wondering why I just wasted 5 hours of my life playing it. Then the next night comes and I have to play it again. It is the greatest most wonderful time sink I have ever had the pleasure of playing… sigh.
