I thought you liked my Viagra and Cialis ads. You've been my best customer so I just figured I was helping you out by posting my special deals.

Seriously, though, I've been feeling the same way. Very complacent and not growing professionally at all. A lot of it has to do with the bad environment we've got going on now. It's difficult to be motivated when you have management you feel you can't trust. I think I just need to find something new...more money wouldn't hurt either.

From what I hear, those bugs are pretty much exclusive to the PS3 version. Lots of freezing and graphical glitches.

I agree though. They really did a great job with Fallout 3.

There are a few good resources for mysql administrators. First off, the mysql documentation is the first place to check, I use it daily. You can search it at http://www.mysql.com/. Secondly I recommend MySQL (4th Edition) (Developer's Library) by Paul DuBois ISBN 0672329387. I dunno who this guy is but he has taught me everything I know about mysql over the years by reading his books.

Good Luck!

Wow, I just took it down too. It is a bit dated and really single purpose but I am working on a new project to get this data and more. You can follow it at:

http://projects.splitbit.com/projects/show/rbmysqladmin

Should have the functionality you are looking for very soon.

Hey Paddy thanks for the tips. I have some serious concerns with the __method__ syntax, really more because it looks horribly ugly but I guess that is just my ruby centric brain finding things to hate. I need some help with introspection and metaprogramming which was very easy to do and find in Ruby. Do you have any good resources? I have done some digging but don't find much of it useful or friendly.
